ANTON

@antonbrandt

  • I’m Anton. I created Leela to bring people together. I love moving & breathing together in community. Having the opportunity to teach, as well as mentor new teachers along their path, is one of the great joys of my life.

My biggest inspiration is the beauty & wisdom of the natural world. As a teacher, I integrate my love for nature into my classes, drawing on its rhythms and cycles to guide my students on a journey of self-discovery. I believe that by connecting with the natural world, we can tap into our innate intelligence, and learn to move and breathe with grace.

In addition to my work with yoga, I also work with sacred medicines, where I delve into the realms of consciousness, spirituality, and the interconnectedness of all beings (read: yoga!). I believe that these experiences enrich my teachings, and allow me to approach my teachings with emotional depth.

I’m passionate about guiding my students to explore their own places of strength as well as tenderness, ultimately aiming to create a space of compassionate self-inquiry. Through my classes, I offer a profound space for exploration, inquiry, and growth.

"When you meet a spirit with an exceptionally radiant, guiding light, you feel the desire to surround yourself with their presence. And if you’re fortunate enough to find this light source, it’s a gift. Anton has a sparkle that exudes from an authentic place of ease and happiness deep within."

  • I’m Carolina. I’m a creative, authentic human, here to serve my community through expressive movement and spiritual practices (at least in this lifetime).

Some trainings I’ve done: 200hr Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Intensive, Mat Pilates, California Barre, BA in Dance, MA Performing in Public Spaces, Organic Dance facilitator, +1000hr of instructing movement classes.

In the last 10 years I’ve worked as a Performer, Dancer, Choreographer,, Events & Retreats assistant, Petsitter, Barre/Yoga/Pilates instructor, and Women Circle Facilitator.

My style of teaching can be described as empowering, spicy, dynamic and intuitive.

Outside of the studio I love to be in the forest, swim in the ocean at sunrise, sip on cacao, create moon rituals, play with clay and ‘catch’ passionate sunsets.

  • I found Transformational Breathwork 6 years ago and it has been the most powerful and impactful practice in supporting my own healing, growth and transformation. Through this practice I have developed a healthier relationship to my body, cleared the dense emotional energy that was keeping me stuck in old patterns, and brought a deep and profound sense of peace and ease to my life.

This is what inspired me to become a facilitator and create spaces and opportunities for others to go through their own transformative experiences and connect to their core, authentic selves in a deeper way.

As a Breathwork Facilitator, I guide people through transformational breathwork practices with curated music to regulate the nervous system, move stuck and stagnant energy and cultivate deep presence in the body and heart.

  • Nina is a 500hr+ YA registered yoga teacher that is passionate about exploring every possible way of moving the body. She once started practicing yoga with creatively sequenced vinyasa flows prioritizing the physical. With growing curiosity she began to dive into different styles of yoga realizing that there is so much more than the physical. Through yoga Nina learned to live with a more tender heart and the appreciation that this life is an opportunity to move into the direction of her dharma.

Nina builds a bridge between a vigorous and dedicated practice that will support you to discover your potential and a therapeutic approach that leaves room for self inquiry to ultimately merge the physical, emotional and energetic body.

She uses mantra, pranayama and asana in combination with intuitive and creative movements that are challenging for both the body and the mind.

Her classes reflect her curiosity and thus are a blend of different lineages and styles such as Ghosh Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Anusara and Katonah Yoga with focusing on coming back to the spiritual aspect of the practice leading to self-realization. Her priority in each class is to hold space for any experience of the individual, to reveal new layers of potential and create a feeling of community + having fun on the way.

  • Embracing both Science and Spirituality, Gabi devotes her time to Health Sciences Research, as well as deepening her cosmic connection through the practices of Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork and Kirtan.

As a former Gymnast and Polevaulter, Gabi developed a deep connection to movement at an early age. With time, her focus shifted to explore movement in a more therapeutic manner and was introduced to Yoga. Initially training in Ashtanga at the birthplace of yoga, Rishikesh, she has since trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Rocket and Pilates to develop a teaching tapestry rich in various lineages, styles and movement modalities. Gabi’s classes thoughtfully weave Dharma with Dhāraṇā, soundscapes with science, mobility with meditation.

It may have been the handstands that initiated Gabi’s curiosity in yoga, but having spent many years studying the philosophy and the deeper teachings of Vedic, Bhakti and Tantric texts, Gabi’s approach leans towards embodied philosophy, weaving yogic insights and the perspectives of modern science, to help imbue the wisdom of yoga for people receptive to a contemporary lense. Ultimately, Gabi embraces the teachings of yoga as maps, to help gracefully navigate the territories of life.

  • Rebecca Hajek is a New Yorker recently transplanted to Lisbon, Portugal who has been studying yoga and meditation for over 25 years.  She was a former opera singer who got her Masters in Music at SUNY Purchase and accredits the discipline and understanding of  subtlety in her practice to her years of strict training. She followed her love of yoga out of the opera world and into her 200hr training over 15 years ago in NYC and discovered her life’s purpose. Eager to soak up the vast wealth of yogic wisdom in NYC Rebecca explored Ashtanga, Iyengar, Forrest, Hatha, Kundalini, Dharma and Bhakti yoga which allowed her to deepen her practice and refine her distinctive style of teaching.

Her 500hr Advanced Teacher Training (ERYT) was completed with her long time mentor Yogi Charu of Saraswati lineage in Hatha yoga and Tantric meditation in 2015. She has sense delved more deeply into bhakti yoga - the yoga of devotion and studying yoga philosophy through the Vedic texts and mantra with her teachers Raghunath Cappo, Kausthuba Das and Radhanath Swami.

Dedicated to the yogic path Rebecca will always consider herself a student first, and a teacher second.

In addition to teaching online and in person with group classes and privates Rebecca leads workshops, teacher trainings, kirtans and yoga retreats around the globe.

  • I began my practice over a decade ago in an attempt to metabolize deep grief and to understand the human condition through my own. After countless hours of practice + self study I began to shed the protective layers of my personality. I found myself thinking less and feeling more. I know now that our true nature is to love and to move from a space of open hearted compassion. I aim to get students back to this simple truth.

In my classes, elements of Ashtanga, Kundalini Gosh + Katonah Yoga are woven together to create a rigorous inward exploration of the self.  I also use vedic meditation, mantra and kriya as tools to reach higher states of consciousness through the physical form.

My goal is for practitioners to leave with a stronger connection to themselves and to all sentient beings.

  • Using a non-dogmatic approach, Grace views the physical practice of yoga as a gateway, not an end in itself. For her, the practice of yoga asana teaches us to not only broaden the breath, but also to expand stillness within ourselves. To inhabit that space more frequently and more comfortably is her ultimate goal, in practice, and in teaching. Her vinyasa classes are fun and creative, with attention to technique and alignment. They include variations suitable for all levels of experience.

As an ambassador for Lolë Women, Grace was chosen to lead the Lolë White Yoga Tour sessions in Toronto, Edmonton and Paris - an event that brings together thousands of people for uplifting yoga sessions dedicated to peace.

Grace’s teaching is rooted in a deep personal exploration of the Ashtanga Vinyasa system. An individual’s journey inward must ultimately lead back outward, to engagement with the community. This realization inspired her to deepen her commitment to development projects, both locally and abroad with the belief that the ultimate goals of yoga are not intended to be confined to the mat.

  • I’m Steph, a dedicated yoga teacher with many years of experience.

I discovered yoga while traveling in Australia, and my passion for it grew after studying under renowned teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life (Jivamukti Yoga) in NYC.

That was when I decided to become a teacher myself, eventually teaching in Munich alongside Patrick Broome, a pioneer in bringing my favorite yoga style to Europe.

I completed my advanced teacher certification in 2005 and have since deepened my knowledge by studying with influential teachers such as Mark Whitwell, John Scott, Brian Kest (Power Yoga), and Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa (Kundalini Yoga).

Through years of dedicated practice and extensive teacher training, I have developed a deep understanding of the body’s potential for transformation and emotional growth.

My teaching style is known for being professional, approachable, humorous, and highly hands-on.

I incorporate a variety of yoga styles, including Vinyasa, Kundalini, functional training, breath awareness, pressure points, massage, and meditation.

Beyond yoga, I am passionate about Kinesiology, Touch for Health, Astrology, emotional well-being, longevity practices, nutrition and magic.

I also specialize in Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga and have created my own brand, Electric Yoga.

I am deeply committed to self-care and personal growth, and I am excited to share my expertise and guide you on a transformative journey of self-discovery through yoga.
